Possible six samurai bug?

I was dueling Jaden/yubel and spent my first turn setting up Great Shogun Shien and Legendary Shien (I know) which should have effectively locked my opponent out of fusions. However he was able to activate both Polymerization and Miracle Fusion on his first turn. I saved the replay here.

Great Shogun doesn't count as a Six Sam therefore his effect requirements are not met and that's that.

Edit nvm: Since you negated with Shi En the first Fusion didn't count as a activation that's why he could activate a second one, previous post is related to Shoguns special summon, my bad.

Shouldn't Shogun be worded differently then? I.e. your opponent can only resolve one spell/trap per turn.

but it is worded as simple as it can get. if opp activates a spell/trap then thats it for the turn, if activation itself was negated then opp can try to activate another card.

Well no because Shi En negates activation entirely, not its effect so its as though the activation never happened thus Shoguns effect will not be applied.

Players like you shouldn't try to find "bugs" if you don't understand the basics of the game.

this is really cringey and you shouldn't be able to lawyer your way out of card effects. Activating a spell/trap is actirvating a spell/trap and shiens should work with each other.
