The monsters (and/or conditions) necessary to summon a Fusion monster will always be in that monster's card text. Unless the Fusion Monster specifically states otherwise, you will always need to use Polymerization or a "Fusion" spell card in order to summon it. You can tell it's a Fusion Monster if the color of its card is purple.
Here's an example. The Fusion Monster Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon is a very simple Fusion Monster that only has its composite monsters in its card text, which is three individual copies of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".
If you have Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon in your Extra Deck, Polymerization in your hand, and three copies of Blue-Eyes White Dragon in your hand and/or on your field, you can activate Polymerization, send those three Blue-Eyes White Dragons to the graveyard, and Fusion Summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon from your Extra Deck.
So I need to read the description of the fusion monster to see which purple monsters I need to fuse them with.
If I have these monsters in my hand(or on my side of the field?) and a fusion spellcard I can fuse them to let the monster from the side deck appear on my side of the field.
Thanks for your information, I think I understand it now.
If I have questions I will ask them again.
Greetings!
If i may add another info, there are substitute cards that can allow you to use that card instead of a material specifically listed in the text of a fusion monster.
For example, if you wanna summon red eye slash dragon (which normally needs a red eye dragon + a warrior type card), you can use instead king of the swamp + a warrior type monster.
In this case, you substitute king of the swamp for the RED.
Fusion Summon:
Fusion monster cards are purple.
Spellcards needed to fuse are polymerization or another fuse card.
Tribute one or a few monsters to the graveyard. (Which monster that are needed is noted in the purple card)
If you have the monster noted in the purple card in your hand or on the field you can fuse those cards with the spell card and the purple card will enter your side of the field.
Synchro Summon:
Synchro monster Cards are grey.
You need an Tuner-Card monster and 1 or more non-Tuner-Card monster whose total level is exactly the same as your synchro summon monster.
The extra deck will be flashing and you can choose your monster to synchro summon.
Some synchro summons need a speciality like EARTH.
Ritual Summon:
Ritual Summon monster cards are blue.
You need a special Spellcard to summon and the ritual summon card and something else I will figure that one out.
I made an guide for myself, self wroted so I can understand.
Is this accurate for a beginner? if someone has things I can add to that, please! (there is also at the ritual summon a "Something else I need to figure out."
if you understand my notes and can help me to upgrade it, please.
Thanks for being so kind y'all!
Ritual Summoning requires you to have (1) a specific Ritual Spell Card, (2) a specific Ritual Monster (usually in your hand), and (3) one or more monsters that have a combined level greater than or equal to the level of the blue card you're trying to summon. Both the Ritual Monsters and the Ritual Spell Cards will always have each other in their card text, so you'll know what you need in your hand to summon the monster.
So, if you're trying to summon the Level 8 Ritual Monster "Black Luster Soldier" from your hand, you'll need the "Black Luster Ritual" Spell Card in that monster's card text, and one or more other monsters in your hand or on the field whose levels add up to 8 or more. It could be one Level 8 or higher monster, or multiple Level 7 or lower monsters, and it doesn't matter if the sum goes higher than 8.
I lose ALL pvp because they have in 1 turn a level 8 monster on the field and if Im lucky I have a 4* 2600 attack monster on my field in the first turn.
Now I figured Ritual* fusion out too!!
