Others include Triamid, Magnet Warriors (mainly the Electromagnets), Cyber Dragons although it isn't really meta just a powerhouse, Cyber Angels, Vendreads, and some other stuff
Now if you are looking for the best it is Crystrons, they way they are played it makes it impossible for absolute removal and it is the deck that beats Six Samurai, problem is its the hardest deck to use and figure out so nobody pays attention to it

Well, like Tactical said, they are still pretty much around and annoying as ever even after nerfs.
Yes they are still good in fact not many decks can easily beat them, I have seen Neos Desperado Cyberdark combo not even hit the guy. Again Crystrons is flat out the deck to overthrow Six Samurai by the way it works but it is a difficult deck to use and get the hang of so nobody bats an eye
Don't use them like ever now, They nerfed their skills and now they are unheard of again. Just make a Magnet Warriors they were better banishers anyways and it never needed a skill to get out so quickly
This is what it does now
Return 1 card from your hand to your Deck. Then, randomly play 1 "Grand Tiki Elder" or "Melchid the Four-Face Beast" in Defense Position from outside of your Deck. After using this Skill, You cannot Normal or Special Summon any monsters other than "Masked Beast Des Gardius" until the end of your opponent's turn. This Skill can only be used once per turn, and twice per Duel.
Then use that see how far you get, also just fyi cant derank now
Crystrons are f2p but you'll need a high IQ to play them or you'll be making misplays and giving yourself time losses. A favorite deck that Japanese players love to play.
Triamids and Magnets are KOG worthy and super f2p friendly. Both are in the same box. I recommend Triamids.
-Triamids-
Pros: With any field spell, hunter and dancer on your hand, you are basically invincible.
Cons: Sometimes you do brick hard and not drawing any monster.
-6sams-
Pros: *just see how many people hates it because of how powerful the deck is*
Cons: very expensive. but obtainable without spending any real money.
-Magnets-
Pros: rather cheap and easy to play.
Cons: takes 2 turns to set up (if you didn't draw grass that looks greener)
note: Subterror is still a good deck, Metaphyss for the honorable mention, and BUJIN BOYS NEVER DIES
