By the stars! How do you get anywhere with a deck that cant summon more than 1 monster? Kalin, at higher levels, can pull off a real mean stall tactic.

Edit: Oh, admittedly those piercing spells will help, but you still only get 5 turns at him.

I personally use Dragunities.

He always leaves me less than 1000 lp, i summon montage after that, but never reached 80,000+

Pretty much what dubina said. Dragunity plus red eyes black sword. It’s super easy.

I use a signer dragon deck. If the stars align, I can deal over 100k damage to opponent.

The actual deck varies between users, because I do not unfortunately have all the signer dragons. Therefore, I use a skill to get some of the signer dragons. But at its core, my deck looks like this:

6x Lv 4 Monsters, preferably ones that can special summon
5x Lv 3-4 Tuners, as high ATK as possible
5x Equip spell cards
3x ATK-boosting spells
1x Gift of the Martyr

Extra Deck:
As many signer dragons as possible
Lv 7-8 synchro monsters for the rest

A basic deck that doesn't use any signer dragon skill looks like this for me:

The idea of the deck is to get a signer dragon on the field ASAP, and then pump its ATK with equip spell cards and Battle Tuned. I like Battle Tuned because it adds one of your tuner's ATK to your monster - permanently. That's why tuner monsters have to have as much ATK as possible in this deck.

And that's how the duel goes. Try to get as many direct hits with your signer dragon as possible. With all the ATK buffs and triple battle damage, they deal some very nice damage.

no the ai cant use it, it will just play 2 lances for on a lv4 monster and keep attacking with it.

Event done with 5.6 mln. points and defeats: 72 in less than 3 hours. Deck: Montage Dragon.

max i did is 30k i started farming him with "elements unite" paradox brothers skill that let you start with gate guardian (warrior) on field but 0 cards in hand.
so you can equip to him warrior-only equip cards, other monsters i used is boxer to summon battleguard king after destroying 2 monsters (3k warrior who can multiple attack for tributing warrior monsters)
but since i farmed some cards i just use archfiend synchro deck with hundred eyes dragon, is easier when they block. good you dont really need more than 30k to farm him.
the only signer dragon cards i own is rose, and is not really good for this event.

Okay, i don't know if it will help but i will post my Red Archfiend Dragon deck i'm using to farm, the AI can somewhat play it to a "descent" level.

Black Rose is actually really good against him on higher levels due to its effect to change defense monsters to attack and lower their attack to 0. Best i managed to get so far with a simple Aromage deck using Black Rose is 66k and its not even built against him.
