Which structure decks do you think are worth getting for a F2P?
Thought this would be an interesting discussion as I haven't seen many people talking about how the newest main box works with structure decks, or how the new structure deck works with what we already have. Also, playing on a brand new account, I've seen lots of new players fall into the trap of wasting gems hoping a structure deck can carry them - meanwhile, I've been wasting them with a deck I made that was far cheaper. It definitely changes some things, but with the steep cost of structure decks, it's debatable whether they're still worth getting.

Spellbound Silence:

Edit: Forgot this wasn't available with gems. Whoops.

Master of Chaos:

The newest structure deck, it's hard to recommend this one for a F2P player. There is one use f2p can get out of it though - using Dark Cavalry, a powerful boss monster with targeting protection, whoch can be summoned using Eye of Timaeus in a Dark Magician deck. Eye of Timaeus isn't exactly being run in optimal Dark Magician decks though, but if you're a Dark Magician fan, it might be worth it. Definitely don;t make it a priority though, either way.

Return of the Red-Eyes:

Another one that's difficult to recommend for F2P. Whilst you CAN build a decent Red-Eyes deck with just one copy, it's going to be far from optimal. It does however provide some great Toon support, so if that's your thing, I'd say it's worth considering. It's only 500 gems after all.

Destiny Rulers:

The Destiny hero support deck, a single box of this will give you access to a generous amount of powerful Destiny Hero cards that you can't get anywhere else. There aren't any meta decks using it right now, but it might be worth getting again in future.

The White Dragon of Legend:

Konami were kind enough to give us 2 copies of Dragon Spirit of White in this one, but an optimal blue eyes deck today is very expensive, which makes it difficult to recommend for a F2P player. Get it only if you really, really like Blue Eyes and plan on spending all of your gems on support from other boxes.

Other than that, I don;t think the other boxes are worth getting for f2p players, either because they're just bad or there aren;t any decent ways you can use only a single box. Silent Swordsman and Desperado Barrel Dragon aren;t going to be winning you many games if you only have a singe copy, for example.

What do you think?

Spellbound Silence isn't obtainable via gems.

Now, Red-Eyes can actually work as a F2P variant, with just 1 copy, even more so if using Chazz with Dragonic Fusion skill, as Dragon's Mirror can replace the extra copies of Red-Eyes Fusion, and if using Insight to get to it quick, it's a strong deck.

Needs a decent bit of optimizations from other boxes, but my Red-Eyes Guardragon deck is quite good and does get the job done, decently consistent. Now, that's not the best you can make Red-Eyes as F2P, I just like that variant due to it being a synchro/fusion deck, and the recursion of Red-Eyes is hard to match. You just need a few SR tickets.

You can get more copies of Red-Eyes Wyvern and Red-Eyes Slash Dragon from the Crimson Kingdom and Resonance of Contrast respectively, and Dragon's Mirror is basically a Red-Eyes Fusion but from the grave not deck.

Regarding Despacito, I've seen some F2P variants in KoG, lemme grab one:

F2P Neo Desperado

1x Desperado Barrel Dragon
1x Lava Golem
1x Sphere Kuriboh
3x Cyberdark Edge
3x Cyberdark Cannon
2x Leng Ling
1x Bacon Saver
1x Elemental Hero Neos
2x Galaxy Cyclone
1x Neos Fusion
2x E-Con
1x Drowning Mirror Force
1x Floodgate Trap Hole
1x Wall of Disruption

1x Brave Neos

As for Blue-Eyes, the deck can be quite viable with just 1 box considering you the new support it got in DSoD, but yes, getting Silver Cry and or White Stone is expensive. Maybe a heterochromatic deck to abuse the fact that Blue-Eyes are normal monsters and use Return on them? Could work, I may try to make that work, and no, I don't have Silver Cry.

Forgot about Spellbound Silence, bummer. Was looking forward to trying it out with Magician Girls and Gravekeepers.

This post confuses me. Are you asking which is good for f2p or are you giving your opinions on each then asking for our input?
from a pure competitive and honest standpoint not a single Structure deck is worth getting if you want to stay f2p, yes you cna make some work with massive drawbacks, some more than others, you can make a Frankenstein deck like the one Anubis mentioned or Neos/Red Eyes would be another one but they're far from truly competitive and they're far from reliable, if you're a collector go and get them if you intend to spend some money go get them, some work perfectly well as x2 or the necessary x3 can be filled with tickets but if you want to compete at the highest level you're better off spending your gems otherwise.

The only structure deck worth to get as a F2P player from the ones you mention OP is Destiny Rulers, and the Blue Eyes strcuture deck as long as of course you're willing to dig the respective boxes for the remaining support for them. Any other one will just not work against anyone that has more copies of it because you're using an incomplete deck. If you expect to win with only 1 copy of the Red-Eyes fusion for example against someone using the same deck but with 3 copies of it... Well, I hope you've your 3 copies of Floodgate Trap Hole and Canadia with you to make up for it my friend. Have fun.

have in mind also that they used to limit rares from structures pretty often, so no one is worth for me, i had 3 copies of destiny rulers and never even had a chance to use the cards competitively, since i had already kog with other less popular deck at the time, i played them only a bit for fun and then make a break from the game and when i'm back what happened? celestial (2) vyon (1) so literally 2 copies of a deck to the trash bin, i feel like robbed. i wish they did the same with a new boosted decks but oh wait they wont do that because they cost more, and they put more higher rarity cards to restore trust of customers after what they pulled with older decks but no one said they cant limit cards of higher rarity than rare, they can do anything and they dont need your permit. i see one day they start limiting sr/ur after what i saw on TI 2019, the guy wasnt able to do anything he just passed turn lul very excitying and at the same time sad fact about current state of the game, old times were MUCH more exciting and unpredictable, now you exactly know what your opponent will do next because hes playing freaking structure premade deck like machine.

---

also if you are wondering why they give dream tickets to everyone, is that they really need excuse to start limiting them, now they can say, uh? that card? is a free card it was given to everyone for free with dream ticket.
