Enter The Dark Side of Dimensions!
A new world is now in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links! Duelists can now access The Dark Side of Dimensions and gain access to new cards, Characters, and Skills by reaching Stage 7 in Duel World (DM)! As part of the new Release Celebration Campaign for the introduction of The Dark Side of Dimensions world, Duelists receive 1000 Gems, a Prismatic Dark Magician, 100 new “Skill Chips”, special Card Sleeves, and a special Game Mat for logging in. In addition, Duelists can receive a total of 6 UR or SR Tickets to redeem for cards by logging in over the course of 6 days. These 6 Tickets include an UR Dream Ticket that can be traded for any Ultra Rare card from the 1st through 20th BOX, an Ultra Rare card from a Structure Deck or Structure Deck EX, or an Ultra Rare card from an event.

The new world brings new challenges to Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links, including new Missions and new opportunities to gain Gems. There are currently 3 characters available in The Dark Side of Dimensions: Seto Kaiba, Mokuba Kaiba, and Scud. Each of these characters brings new Skills to Duel Links. Some of these Skills may shape the landscape of PvP Dueling. Check out a few of them!

Seto Kaiba (DSOD) has a couple of cool Skills that are new to Duel Links. His “Scorns of Ultimate Defeat” Skill can be used after Turn 6 and allows you to add a Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon to the top of your Deck. Plus, if your opponent controls monsters with 3500 or higher DEF, it’ll also add Chaos Form to your hand so that you can Ritual Summon your Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon. Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon has 4000 ATK, inflicts double piercing damage, and can’t be targeted or destroyed by your opponent’s card effects. That makes it an incredible monster that will often end a Duel if it’s Summoned.

Seto Kaiba’s “Alternative Evolution” Skill is easier to use and can also have a big impact on a Duel. This Skill allows you to convert a Blue-Eyes White Dragon you control that has 3000 or more ATK into a Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon. Blue-Eyes Alternative is just like Blue-Eyes White Dragon, but also has the ability to destroy a monster on the field once per turn instead of attacking. This skill will come in handy any time an opponent has a monster on his or her field that can stand up to your Blue-Eyes White Dragon.

Mokuba Kaiba (DSOD) has access to the “Decoy Tactics” Skill, which can be used once when your Life Points drop by at least 1500. This Skill lets you play a Decoy Dragon from outside of your Deck onto the field in Defense Position. You can’t Special Summon any monsters during the turn you use this Skill, and you can only use this Skill if your Deck started with 5 or more Dragon-Type monsters with different names; but this can be a powerful ability in the right Deck. Decoy Dragon has an effect that lets you swap it with a Level 7 or higher Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard if its attacked, and then forces the opponent’s monster that attacked your Decoy Dragon to attack the newly Summoned monster instead. This can be an incredible defensive maneuver. It can stop an opponent in his or her tracks by placing a monster on the field that will Special Summon something powerful like a Blue-Eyes White Dragon if it’s attacked.

Mokuba Kaiba’s “See You Later!” Skill is a simple one with some cool applications. This Skill can be used once per Duel and lets you select a monster that you own and that you control and return it to the hand. This Skill can be combined with monsters that have effects that activate once while they’re on the field or when they’re Summoned (like the Monarch monsters), so that those effects can be reused.

Scud has a couple of simple Skills that pile on small amounts of damage to make a big difference in a Duel. His “Extra Pain” Skill lets you inflict 50 extra points of Battle Damage whenever you deal battle damage to your opponent, as long as your opponent has more than 1000 Life Points left. Similarly, Scud’s “Smile Bright!” skill inflicts 50 points of damage to your opponent at the start of your turn, as long as your opponent has more than 1000 Life Points left. Scud is all about beating opponents when they’re down and inflicting pain on others, and his Duel Links Skills reflect his personality.

The Dark Side of Dimensions brings lots of new material to Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links! What’s your favorite thing about this new world so far?

The DSoD world is a disappointment of sorts as there is less of everything that used to be a part of previous world releases: three new characters instead of the usual five, no new Standard Duelists at all, nor are there new decks for the existing SDs to use, also there were no mats/sleeves to be obtained on raising Stage levels.

The current DSoD roaming Duelist event is great though.
This is the best world yet. Thanks for the gifts!
i like the new world too

sb know how to unlock scud?

You know the 1000 gems you got, what did you think the box gems came from?
So, I reached 30 level with Kaiba and 30 level with Mokuba, on 15 Stage, so what should I do next?? Really boring world without Yugi. Please add more players. Playing with only Mokuba and Kaiba, is really not fun at all

hm.. How to Unlock that player? Banish your opponent's card 300 time(s) with your Card Effect? This seems really painful.
