Darklord Negate - ok, what are you doing about 4500 attack? Also, no using Darklord effects with Necrovalley on the field - gravekeepers counter it.
Canadia - Not really a top-tier card currently. Still have to deal with a 4500 def wall either way.
TTH - can;t destroy it with card effects
Shadow Imprisoning Mirror - never heard of this one, or seen it. Does anyone even use it?
World Legacy clash - Oh no, you made my 4500 atk monster lose 1500 atk points, whatever will I do?
I have a theory, maybe enemy controller? tribute 1 monster, take control of the quintet magician (chain the enemy controller AFTER quintet magician effect activates), get him on your field, watch him explode himself (with all your cards =/).
He's immune to destruction effects
Dude I destroy my own card to take your Quintet to win, he meant after you lose all LP
Dammit, forgot about that, you're right, so i guess i will have to keep an eye out for him from now on, and save my Rebirths of Parshath for him.
And? I thought your main problem is the field nuke bc just bc it's a huge beater doesn't make it super OP.
It's a main deck option for basicly every deck that isn't Desperado or Darklords?!
*Checks current meta* Oh only monsters with >2.5k ATK in the most used decks, Desperado, Shi En, Morningstar, Tezcatlipoca, Ixchel...
Also, it cannot be destroyed by card effects. Also, don;t forget Gravekeepers have a new card released that's basically a floodgate for all graveyard effects, even without Necrovalley on the field.
2.5k monsters may be a thing, but your field's still getting wiped unless you negate his effect, which darklords won;t be able to do if Gravekeeprs are floodgating your graveyard. Sure, you can have santified set on the field, but that's not how you;re supposed to play darklords now is it? Still doesn;t save you from the 4500atk beatstick coming at you.
Edit: Also could we please stop assuming you have the perfect cards to stop everything? Bc chances are you don't, i can just as much expect to have a set Sanctified and TTH (no one runs that but i could bc in theory it's just as likely) and there you go now it's able to being destroyed by card effects. gg wp.
I'm not assuming I have the perfect cards to beat anything, Gravekeepers strategy is literally about floodgating your graveyard. It's just what they do.
Aren;t you doing exactly what you blamed me of doing? Everything has counters, I'm not disputing that. I'm just saying Quintet Magician is a very powerful card that might be useful in decks that, quite honestly, don;t need it.
What's your problem?
My problem is that you say the card is busted, which would mean it's borderline impossible to get rid of it or play around it, which it's not, this is my problem, i hate when ppl claim x, y or z is OP when in reality it's not, i'm not saying it's not a strong card bc holy sh*t it is but it's not busted.
It's called being hyped, I;m sorry if you don;t have any joy in your life.
