Could not connect to Steam Server

When I launch the game it says it cant connect to the server and it just exits the game. Picture of what it looks like below

Exit steam, and open it again, it works for me.

Ok, try to repair the game, on your library, right click the game name, choose properties, go to local files, and finally verify game integrity cache or something like that.

Weird, i recently had a problem with Origin, i could connect to US and EU servers, but not BR ones, the solution was to call my internet provider and ask for a ports reset, i had the problem for 4 days, i had tried every single thing game/data related, hell i even fresh install windows ... maybe try this first, before making some harsh decision.

IIRC, Steam has weekly downtime on Tuesday evenings, that's probably what disrupted your log in.

Tomorrow is the big update to the game.
The general solution to this problem is to reboot the steam processor(Restart steam). Maintenance is available from 8:30 am to 10:30 am

thats odd it worked for me check if steam has an update for u if now try validateing your game files or open up your wifi click forget connection then reconnect

This is happening to me now, I've already restarted Steam, I uninstalled and installed the game and restarted the computer and I still have the same error as my friend there. I've been trying to solve it for over 24 hours.

I get this issue as well. No matter what game i want to play, I get a error message, And the game client just auto closes itself. I did submit a ticket over this problem, Hope they will fix this.

I've been getting this error on Steam since this morning too. Works fine on my phone. I guess it's some sort of bug since you two have it today as well.
