Desperado Barrel Dragon in PvP Dueling!

If you were active in the recent Kaiba Corporation Cup or practice in PvP Dueling, you’ve probably noticed a lot of Duelists using Desperado Barrel Dragon from the Full Metal Desperado EX Structure Deck. Desperado Barrel Dragon has become the focal card of one of the top Decks using Sartorius Kumar’s Master of Destiny skill. Take a look at what makes this Deck so powerful!

Desperado Barrel Dragon can single-handedly change the tide of a Duel. Once per turn, during the Battle Phase of either player’s turn, you can flip 3 coins and destroy face-up monsters on the field, up to the number of heads. As an added bonus, if you flip 3 heads, you get to draw a card. Desperado Barrel Dragon can’t attack during the turn it uses its effect, but that’s a small drawback on an incredible effect that can wipe out an opponent’s entire field of monsters during either turn.

Desperado Barrel Dragon is also an easy-to-Summon Level 8 DARK Machine with 2800 ATK. If a face-up DARK Machine-Type monster you control is destroyed by battle or card effect, you can Special Summon it from your hand. Decks built around Desperado Barrel Dragon often use DARK Machines like Twin-Barrel Dragon, BM-4 Blast Spider, and Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive to make it easier to Summon to the field.

Twin-Barrel Dragon and BM-4 Blast Spider also have additional synergy with Desperado Barrel Dragon. BM-4 Blast Spider lets you target a DARK Machine-Type monster you control and a face-up card your opponent controls and destroy them once per turn. Doing so will allow you to Summon Desperado Barrel Dragon from your hand. Plus, if a DARK Machine you control destroys an opponent’s monster(s) by battle or card effect and sends it to the Graveyard while BM-4 Blast Spider is on your field, you can inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the original ATK of 1 of those monster(s) destroyed and sent to the Graveyard. Destroying an opponent’s monsters with Desperado Barrel Dragon while BM-4 Blast Spider is on your field will wipe out a chunk of your opponent’s Life Points.

Desperado Barrel Dragon’s final effect works alongside Twin-Barrel Dragon. This effect lets you add a Level 7 or lower monster that has a coin tossing effect, from your Deck to your hand, if your Desperado Barrel Dragon is sent to the Graveyard. This effect can be used to grab Twin-Barrel Dragon from your Deck.

Decks built with Desperado Barrel Dragon typically rely heavily on its strength to win Duels. That’s because it has so many incredible effects and a high number of Attack Points. But Sartorius’s Master of Destiny skill is something else that Duelists can rely on while using Decks with five or more different coin flipping card, including Desperado Barrel Dragon.

As long as you have at least five cards with different names in your Deck that involve coin tosses, the Master of Destiny skill will guarantee that your first three coin tosses of the Duel will always be heads. In addition to Desperado Barrel Dragon, Duelists commonly use cards like Twin-Barrel Dragon, Time Wizard, Arcana Force XIV – Temperance, Cup of Ace, and Fiend Comedian to reach this minimum of five unique coin tossing cards and take advantage of the power of Sartorius’s Master of Destiny skill.

Guaranteeing “heads” with Desperado Barrel Dragon and other cards that involve coin flips make all of them stronger, and make Decks built around Desperado Barrel Dragon a powerful force in PvP Dueling. It is being used as intended, nowhere on the skill does it say Arcana Forces. If the skill was only meant for Arcana Forces then it will say Arcana Forces not to mention we already have a skill meant for Arcana Forces that works the same

Idc if the skill gets banned, but do it for a good reason not some illogical reason like "oh this skill isn't being used like it's supposed to" from a biased person.

The only thing I was here for when people wanted a skill nerfed is Masked Tribute which lie your dumb reason was because it wasn't being used correctly, the difference being that it literally explained on the skill for Masked Beast Des Gardias, where on the skill does it show anything about Arcana Force? We already have skills for the coin toss of Arcana Force, Master of Destiny is being used properly, hell you people only care about it now because Desperado is a thing even though nobody abuses it with Desperado these days. If you have a reason for the skill should be nerfed then that's fine but you don't you are using the same illogical reasoning for Masked Tribute to be nerfed, give me 1 logical reasoning for the skill to be nerfed
