WTF is a quickplay spell?????

as far as i knew a quickplay spell can be played from your hand at anytime, but according to duel links i cant so how do they work then?

from hand during your battle phase. not in your opponents turn.

when set on the field during your oponents turn at any time as well.

n this is not a duellinks only rule, this was the case even when i still played the TCG, like ~2004

quick play have always worked like that

Sometimes I have problems when you set a quickspell card in my own turn (main phase1), and then want to activate it in my battle phase of same turn, it doesnt allow it... shouldnt it be possible, it is a spell and not a trap after all?

Quick-play spells follow the same rules as traps when you set them.
