as long as you already unlock GX
then nope

AFAIK Those wins can be peformed even when you are duel outside GX world
I counted them myself. When I just only had 10 less cards duel, suddenly bastion's mission unlocked out of nowhere

Once you "Achieve 50 win(s) with 3 or less Cards left in your Deck," Bastion Misawa Unlock Missions appear. Complete the missions to get Bastion Misawa as a playable character:

Achieve 1 win(s) using only WATER Monster Cards.
Achieve 1 win(s) using only FIRE Monster Cards.
Achieve 1 win(s) using only EARTH Monster Cards.
Achieve 1 win(s) using only WIND Monster Cards.

eh mah gawd. sounds easy. but i cant even remeber how many near deck out victories i have... any way to check it?
