Is there ever a reason to have 30 cards in deck?
Isn't it kinda a logical thing to always only have 20 cards for the sake of consistency.

there is "deck out" decks, i have one, in this situation maybe it would be better to have a few more cards unless you have counter efects
I just put all cool cards in till it hits 30 :p

People will start using 30 Card decks more when we get decks which rely on the graveyard more. Right now the only 30 Card deck I've seen which isn't a mess was Chaos Necromancer. Just wait for Lightsworn and Chaos Dragons and you'll see people run 30 card decks more. Other than that just stick to 20.

there really isn't any reason to add 30 cards into the deck. At first I assumed to was to create parallels to the TCG where deck limit is 40 - 60 cards.

But like Mondo said, there's gonna be a point where we get more cards that rely on the graveyard.

True, in the beginning(maybe first 100 hours) people won't have any 'themed' decks unless they buy a structure deck. So it's very useful to make a deck with very strong individual cards without any particular theme. I got to gold rank easy with that. So in short 30 cards works well with that deck, as you don't need specific cards as much and you'll have a better chance against deck-out decks and whatnot.

if you are more than 22 cards you are stupid. End of story. All decks must use 20 cards for consistency. 22 cards if u think you have a great combo each turn and want to tech in cards like chaos hunter/ante and so on.
