Thanks guys, that last link was amazing. Is there no way I can increase the actual game board when i'm dueling? I have a massice duel log and preview pane left and right, seems poorly laid out :(

You can't. The dev made it this way. You can however change the camera mode to Top-Down view for a better viewing of the game board [s2.postimg.org] Its default set Player-view is just for additional eye candy.
