I don't see why it's so hard for people to see the appeal for DL over LotD. One is an actual online game with it's own meta, constant updates and events where LotD is just an outdated console port. If I wanted to play the normal game then I'd play Ygopro for free but I don't since I prefer DLs meta.

It's fine if you don't like DLs format but quit trying to advertise for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ outdated console port.

Dude the game has been out for a year, we are in the middle of a large steam sale, and LotD has never dropped in price. I would frankly be shocked if it got a price drop at all for the christmas sale

Also how do you know that LotD is better if you've never played it?

LotD looks nice, and I'd even buy it at $20, but I've read on their forums that so many of the core cards of so many archetype decks are locked away behind the DLCs. In total, it's almost $105, which is by far more than I'm willing to pay for a game. As others have pointed out multiple times, this game has also never gone on sale.

I'm nearly 100% sure they're basing that assumption off the fact you can purchase cards in DL with real money, while LotD is mostly a grind for cards once you purchase the game itself (minus the $85 of DLC)

The game has not had a price drop since it released. People are not going to purchase a 20 dollar card game with a low player base during a sale in which they can get higher quality games for cheaper.

Seriously why the ♥♥♥♥ hasn't this game gotten a price drop already. I mean ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥'s been a full year already and I doubt too many people even bought it in the first place plus it looks like the devs abandoned it. It needs to have a 80 or 90 percent discount already.

Paying just isn't that big of a deal in this game. I've been playing for a week and I already managed to build two or three very strong decks with just the free gems. Sorry to say it this brutally but... git gud.

Been playing a week... with the free gems cards and such from all the events ive made myself a GB deck, a mostly finnished Ojama Deck (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Ojama Blues!), a Cerberus Farming Deck and slowly working on a Kaibaman Deck and Cats Ear Tribe Deck...

How is this P2W?..
