what do you get to keep in new game +?

Like, if I miss some statues, do I only find those missing in NG+? Same for the files, really.

Yeah, I collected all the missing files I had left and got the achievement for it. Same goes for anything that's a collectible.

You keep your keys/files, abilites, weapons and weapon upgrades. Plus any goo/crafting items that you picked up in the first game.

You may have to visit Nurse (you know) to upgrade your physical stats. If you upgraded all
you get a nice surprise
