Essentially, only a single day of sales were recorded.
Anyways, there's simply not enough information to suggest anything relevant at this point. However, given the mediocre/poor reception of the first game, I wouldn't be surprised if many people weren't eager to immediately buy into the sequel.
But I do think there's a decent chance that will change as the game continues to gain more positive exposure.
It's not that i don't like sequels, but i don't think every franchise needs to have a ton of games.
They could make a new IP, also horror based, but something new.
The devs do. Better sales = another game. In the end the game is a product and needs to make money.
