Thanks so much for posting this :D!
Oddly though it works for all my games. No tearing, no stutter and no noticeable input lag. Used it without issue on my 980Ti before upgrading, again without any issues.
I guess you missed the short bus today.
EDIT: even on Nvidia's site it says "Fast Sync is designed to benefit games that are running with very fast native render rates (3 times or more the rate of the refresh on your monitor)."
Tom Petersen of Nvidia even said in a video that using fast sync at 60 fps would cause some problems and that regular vsync should be used. fast sync chooses a frame from a set of 3 frames in a buffer and if the framerate is low such as at 60 fps then there will be some stutter because of this implementation. how much and how often the stutter can vary from game to game but will happen.
AGAIN fast sync is only meant to be a used for high fps games like MOBAS and games like CS:GO.
Is this the same Nvidia that said here is a game ready driver?
No need to play ♥♥♥♥♥♥, read what I said. Fastsync works for me, no stutter. If you don't understand then get an adult to read it for you.
that does not change the FACTS about fast sync and what it was designed for and what the side effects of using it at only 60 fps are.
Please just get an adult to read and explain for you, I have no stutter. Indeed the last issue I had with stutter was back on the 970 which I got a full refund for after 6 months.
make sure you have the latest version of nvidia inspector, when you launch nvidiaInspector.exe check at the bottom if it saying there's a newer version. the version i downloaded from Guru3Dcom was old and it wouldnt work
