And no, aiming with a controller is perfectly fine. It sure as hell ain't precise as the mouse, but using a mouse on this game is like cheating to me. Plus a controller feels spot on for a third person survival horror game. I mean, i play a lot of TLOU MP, and i can aim just fine againt other players.
No it's anything but 'fine' if you can't see it then I want some of that koolaid you ingested because there is no SEPARATE aiming speed, all tied idiotically to camera speed, which is slow as hell, you can't make circles while aiming, its in squares, diagonal aiming is impossible to do as well as camera movement, it's slow and not viable.
Apparently you did not play the first one, I had NONE of these issues in that game at all using controllers, I was able to pull off aiming just fine, and you seem to equate the reticle to aiming, no friend, I mean camera aiming, it.is.trash.
Apparently check my damn profile if you don't believe that i played the first one. First one had a design choice of having weapon sway and big recoil until your hand is steady. It was hard as hell to shoot at the beginning due to that.
The moment i used a gun in this game, it felt faster, more natural. And i am comparing this since i played the first one again, today. Now, what you say isn't wrong. It is tied to the camera and it moves in incrementals, but i never had a problem aiming for the head in close combat, or any body part for that matter. Thing is, there is a fixed speed when aiming. So tilting it more won't really improve anything or make your weapon go faster.
Guess i am kinda lucky to adapted in the first two minutes of when you get the gun.
The game has sway to not make it ridiculously easy, it's the same on the last of us.
secondly, who the ♥♥♥♥ in their right mind chooses a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ controller over keyboard and mouse to shoot? If it's a ps4 exclusive then fine but if it's not you're just asking for a ♥♥♥♥ time.
I do, I use ps4 controller, I like to be able to walk in game.
So happy I possess the skill and knowledge to use WASD to walk in a game.
It's a common problem in a lot of games. Use Xbox360CE to fix itt (add anti-deadzone values) and your controls then will be perfectly responsive.
stiff? its literally too buttery smooth. The exact opposite
