BUG: Chapter 3 and 4

SPOILERS:
So in chapter 3 the main quest is "Track down the girls voice using your Communicator"
Instead of doing this I explored and I found the doll in that warehouse and saw the cutscene now figuring out that the bad guy has Lily in the city hall. I also found the computer to use in the North Safe House to get to the Marrow leading to city hall and spoken to O'Neill about it.

When I picked up the doll Sebastian said something along the lines of "Another doll... but where's Lily?" (Although that was the first doll I found. I am assuming the first doll you are supposed to find is in the pit stop that the voice is coming from)

Now I am on chapter 4 and supposed to go into the Marrow leading to city hall but I haven't been in the pit stop and missed part of the story. The Communicator doesn't show anything anymore and going to the pit stop does nothing. I still have the quest and the game still says chapter 3 is not completed even though I am on chapter 4. Escensially I missed part of the story and can't activate it.

I am assuming this is a bug or just something the developers didn't think about. I think the quest should still trigger even if you already know where Lily is and all that because this is all mind craziness and flashbacks anyway.

I need to decide if I want to wait for a fix and then continue or just continue without it and do it on new game +
This still kind of sucks... Really puts me off of continuing playing.

I was hoping to find out if any of you other players also experienced this or is it just me and maybe if someone has any info about this being intentional or if it will be fixed in a future patch or hotfix.

Same here and it's ridiculous, penalize exploration? WTF! (8 hours of gameplay)

Some how you sequence broke because you are not normally able to explore that wherehouse before the story says so. So you sould try load a save before you went into the wherehouse or sorry to say start over.

How did you manage to get into the inner space of the warehouse ? Its physically not possible as the small gap on the right side is blocked by a wooden plank which can only be removed once you've found the first doll after investigating the girl's voice thing.

This. I spent an hour or so trying to get past the board by shooting it, using explosives and using a Handaxe/knife, tried the same stuff with the chained door beside it. Eventually figured I'd be coming back to it. How the hell did you get past it without progressing the story?

Now you mentioned, when i enter to the warehouse the camera it's seems to do a crazy thing (like a fast movement), then im in "some place" still in the warehouse and appear the photo killer and the scene with the girl, when she hide, etc. Obviously a bug, big one.

Hmm. A rare bug it seems cause I haven't heard anyone who encountered this.

I'm going to continue with chapter 4, this should not break my game I guess. I do everything but in another order, first I found the girl and then I start to follow the clues to "see" how it ends there (warehouse). Chapter 3 continues to "enter the warehouse"

Yeah I realized it was after picking that item on the box (I think it was a fuse but not sure) I just teleport into the other side of the fence. I didn't think about it at first because you know the craziness and changes to environment that can occur in the game.
Obviously a weird bug.

In the warehouse I had a bug that whenever I was crouching and picked up something it would teleport me to a random location around the warehouse

Same, after grabbing the fuse I was teleported to the other side of the fence...... Coming outside of the morrow to go to City Hall I was teleported outside of the map also. Loaded the last auto-save which worked, but I still have the Mission objective to search the warehouse from chapter 3. No new objectives appear in the tab menu, only the warehouse one, I'm going to continue with the game hopefully everything will be fine.....

I'm in Chapter 11 and everything is going well. Chapter 3 is still "incomplete" but does not affect the progress of the game or achievements.
