So far, as of chapter 9, I've encountered only 3 types of enemies, which are not susceptible to stealth - crawling enemies (who have only one required encounter), saw-arm monster girls, and camera creature (neither of last two are required to be beaten)
The good thing about stealth is they dont drag so long, creature is dangerous but you can lose them fast, you can just hide in the corner and Ambush them instantly, just play hide and seek with them.
Even for stealth, in fact stamina is really important as well, so you can run longer and find your hiding place then ambush them.
And I explore every house and corner.
Your own quote clearly stating "basic" enemy takes 5 headshots, which is not true. 2 hits in the head with unupgraded weapon will dispose of basis enemy [PERIOD]
Every enemy in Evil Within 2 has weakspots, but they're not always shinning in glowing light, screaming " SHOOT HERE " as in RE4's Las Plagas, RE5's Uroboros or the necros in dead space, so it might be a little to hard for you to wrap your little head around it without any visual aid.
Have you tried, you know, running away? It just works™
