Wtf is with the difficulty?
This is just tedious. It takes over 5 headshots to kill a basic enemy, that flails around the entire time. Knife is so pointless you might as well not even have it.

I'd love to use the stealth mechanic, but since they go into search mode as soon as you enter the area, it defeats the purpose.

False. The white haired creatures that spawn in the armory and the northeast of town take 5 shots in the head to kill.

Learn the game rather than bringing nothing to the discussion other than "get better."
White ladies are actually fairly rare, and are upgraded enemies, along with poisonous ones, crawling enemies etc. Stealth is really viable on Nightmare, at least when you put few upgrades to stealth skills branch. Around 80% of enemies I've killed were killed by stealth. Even those guys, who can't be one-shoted with stealth (including white-haired ones), are giving you some time to hide again and land second stealth attack (Ambush is really useful skill here).

So far, as of chapter 9, I've encountered only 3 types of enemies, which are not susceptible to stealth - crawling enemies (who have only one required encounter), saw-arm monster girls, and camera creature (neither of last two are required to be beaten)

But thats the point.. If you could take them down without a worry then why would you worry?

I think Stealth in this game design quite well, its very well reward, basically all kinds of creature is really dangerous when you fight them face to face, they are really fast, hard to aim. With stealth you can finished them a lot easily - but you got to have some basic stealth skills first.
The good thing about stealth is they dont drag so long, creature is dangerous but you can lose them fast, you can just hide in the corner and Ambush them instantly, just play hide and seek with them.
Even for stealth, in fact stamina is really important as well, so you can run longer and find your hiding place then ambush them.

Nightmare is just too easy. 15hours in-game and 13 chapter so far.
And I explore every house and corner.

Avoid enemies you don’t have to fight every single one of them only use ammo when you have too, upgrade your handgun!

Bullet sponges = weak design. Weak spots, like in RE4/5, are great design.

Your own quote clearly stating "basic" enemy takes 5 headshots, which is not true. 2 hits in the head with unupgraded weapon will dispose of basis enemy [PERIOD]

Straight to insults I see, nice.

Every enemy in Evil Within 2 has weakspots, but they're not always shinning in glowing light, screaming " SHOOT HERE " as in RE4's Las Plagas, RE5's Uroboros or the necros in dead space, so it might be a little to hard for you to wrap your little head around it without any visual aid.

You know they can still be stealth killed in search mode right?
Have you tried, you know, running away? It just works™
