Is a bit of a waste? With ammo being fairly scarce in this game, using 3 bullets per shot seems a bit excessive.

I guess it'll be good for boss fights and what not, but still.

I like that it gains the upgrades of the normal pistol... but as a OCD-near-level scavenger, the idea of putting three rounds into an enemy I know I can kill with less hurts a bit. Generally I've only used it for the times I REALLY need to empty my clips into something FAST.

Yeah, the only real use for it is when you absolutely NEED to get 3 shots in to an enemy in less than a second, so pretty much just useful for bosses or certain enemies. Otherwise, it's really too much of a waste and liability; one missed shot means 3 wasted bullets.

yeah, i've opted to use the regular handgun so far instead of the burst since its way too easy to miss the shots, but it should be decent towards bosses since you can dump ammo into it really fast

I use burst on bosses or big enemy types where you can't miss.

Yep its a waste of ammo dont use it on the normal people save it for the boss fights that are huge targets & have ton more HP.

Yeah I stuck with normal pistol so far, since you can miss with enemies head bobbing. Like the others say use it for boss fights or what not if not don't bother with it.... I probably just stick with the regular pistol unless enemies get to crazy.
