After the ending, a few questions still remain?
What about Ruvik from TEW1, he is still on the loose within Leslie's body. What happened to Sykes? Did he really make it out alive?

How about our partner/friend Joseph? Kidman told us he was still alive somehow.

Last but not least, STEM went on, how is that even possible?

Your thoughts?

Ruvik: One of two things... either he is being saved for a later game... or its the classic 'villain got away' horror ending.

Oda: Strongly suspect DLC or sequel. If I had to bet I'd say DLC.

Stem: Just a "TO BE CONTINUED" thing.

The Evil Within 1 ending was vague and there is no confirmation that I know of that ruvik is inside leslies body. From what I know he's dead based on the conversation with Kidman saying that Ruvik was stopped, What Sebastian saw could have been a hallucination of recent traumatic events, its unclear at this point and we'll have to wait and see

I'm pretty sure it was confirmed in the DLC.

Yup, I replayed the DLC just the other day. Ruvik even takes Leslie over intermittently during the game, not just at the very end. The scene at the playground: The DLC reveals that Kidman sees Ruvik in him for a split second - that's why she's suddenly pointing her gun at him. Then, of course, there's the scene at the church where Ruvik speaks through Leslie. In hindsight, there's more than enough info in the main game too. What always strikes me is the scene where we see "Leslie" walking through the courtyard, looking up and letting the rain drip from his face. How he walks and looks in that scene is not Leslie.
I wonder if the courtyard scene was trying to show how he was enjoying the sensation of the rain, something he couldn't have done in his old body... even within STEM...

You're also completely right about the movement. If you pay attention through the course of the game 'real' Leslie is very insecure and hyperactive, hunched over and constantly holding/rubbing his hands while at other times he is suddenly more rigid and confident.

My question is how so many people are actually connected to STEM.

In this game: Theodore's Mu centers recruited gullible people. The outside world thought they were in a sect, but instead they got connected to STEM. The files say that the amount of people connected were just below the threshold of maintaining wireless connections (to then connect the whole world) when the core went missing.
Ah thanks, picked up on the first part. But not how they are connected to STEM, they must have a ♥♥♥♥ ton of STEM facilities then.

Just to say, theres a bit of dialog in The Executioner where the Mobius operatives talking to you mention something about Ruvik leaving STEM, with them trying to figure out how he did it.

"In the Ruvik case, the prevailing theory is that he left STEM by entering the body of subject Withers. The results of this experiment are a great step forward in understanding the dynamics of STEM." is the paragraph I'm speaking of. I don't know if that DLC is even considered "cannon" but it is mentioned for sure in there.
