I will agree with this. It is nice not to have to deal with that feature. Perhaps, though, in a future version of this game, add something to indicate that the lasers no longer harm the player as opposed to what occurs in Portal 2. A possible reason may be that, due to current degradation of the facility, the lasers are only being partially powered: Enough to power systems but not enough to harm the player?
OR add a difficulty option that changes the difficulty of the puzzles in this mod that could be cool (current difficulty should be the easy option, then there should be normal and hard or skip straight to hardest) , portal reloaded for example wasn't scared to make mind bending puzzles and they managed to make really challenging puzzles, there was so much more to explore with some of the mechanics introduced by this mod.
don't get me wrong some of the puzzles were exceptions and even though still not that challenging were really interesting in concept
Note: i know it was a conscious move to make the puzzles so that they can be solved by anyone however there is always that one guy who is going to be stuck at the easiest ♥♥♥♥ ever, with this reasoning every puzzles in this mod could've been just one button in front of a door that you press to open the door...

Really. Next time point the lazer at the transparent door using the transparent cube. The transparent door will now turn red. Now walk though.
