Walking speed slow?
Is it just me or is there no sprint and walking speed is crawling?

My bad. I thought the robots in the base game move way faster.

Have you changed the Max FPS setting? I originally set mine to my monitor's refresh rate and walking felt different from other Portal games. When I set it back to the highest Max FPS walking felt normal again.

I messed around with various max FPS settings. My monitor's refresh rate is 240hz. No discernible difference between 60,120,240,400,500.

it's extremely slow vs the main portal games. Is there no setting we can change to fix this?

Yeah it threw me for a while. I hadn't played the base games in a while - thought it was missing sprint. It's just slow and wrong.

It's a different engine than the original Portal games.

It's probably just me but Portal 2 felt slower than P1 as well.

Now I'm not sure actually, I reinstalled Portal 2 and that also feels slow. Probably just misremembering these games then.

Going from Half-Life to Half-Life² was the same feeling as going from Melee to Brawl, you notice it much more when you compare those back to back.

Its way too slow - killing the game really, so used to run and jump,slide etc from other games . would love a mod for this
