4-10 seems to have a soft lock
Correct me if I'm wrong, but in level 4-10 I found no way to complete the level if you launch the ball into the ball receptacle before you get to the platform yourself, because you don't have anything to push the button down anymore.
Unless I missed something very obvious - please let me know if that's the case.

UPDATE: As of today, the developer has fixed this by adding an additional ball summoning button on the bottom platform. Thanks!

same please help me beat it

You have to get to the higher platform first, then it's trivial. After spreading blue gel on the floor in front of the tilted wall, use the ball on the button to beam yourself to the ceiling. Then, while being beamed near the ceiling, transfer the blue gel with the beam above the button, move the portal to the tilted wall so the gel falls onto the button with the ball on it, it will bounce the ball away, you will fall, fly out the tilted wall, bounce once on the gel and fly towards the finish. Then you put a portal under the ball spawner, call a new ball and let the ball do the same thing.
The problem is that if you transfer the ball to the finish first, there's no way to get up there yourself, afaik.

I launched the ball first than myself, think with gels and portals.

I tried that so many times.. I made the entire floor covered in blue gel, bounced as high as I could, jumped into a floor portal from height to launch myself out of the tilted wall, but I always just bounced into the acid. There just wasn't enough height to bounce all the way to the finish. I could only do that with the method I described in the previous comment (by bouncing the ball away from the button while beamed near the ceiling).
But I can be wrong, by all means, though I would like to see it done with launching the ball first!

I can get myself across fine with the beam method. The ball however.... it physically will not maintain enough momentum to bounce across the gap, nevermind into the socket. If not for the fact of somehow being able to time it to grab the ball as it falls from the dropper and CARRY it with me to the platform, the chamber would be practically impossible for me because physics just won't work how I assume it's meant to for the ball

For me the ball works just fine if you cover the floor with the blue gel and launch the ball either from top of the beam, or from the ball spawning tube and let it fall into a floor portal, launching it from the tilted wall. Not sure why it wouldn't work for you..

I've tried both of those methods since, I obviously figured that's the way it's meant to be done. But every time, the ball just fails to keep enough height to make it across when bouncing off the gel

That's really strange!

Even weirder, I decide to do 'restart' in the console to start the map over and everything worked just fine that time and I was able to even get the Bullseye achievement

Source engine jank, I swear

I'm having the same issue but loading the save from before i started the level didn't help. the ball never has enough momentum for me to grab it on the other side.

If you have developer console enabled, try to use the restart command and see if that helps like it did for me. It'll start the map over. Else failing that, you can just try to jump for the ball as it falls out of the tube after the platform below it comes up and falling through your portal. Do it right and you can effectively bring it across that way. Definitely not an intended method but, a cheese solution is better than nothing when way you're supposed to do it isn't behaving right

Yeah this room is bugged, the ball doesn't reach enough height for me to catch it either
i just crouch flew over to the high platform lol

They definitely should not have relied on the physics system for this solution. Having a set trajectory out of the portal, maybe even with a scripted bounce would have been the way to go.

Nothing worse in a puzzle game that to have the correct solution just not work.
