Co-op Multiplayer

We loved Portal 2!! Because it was multiplayer. Everybody I know that plays portal, only plays because it's co-op multiplayer. So the fact that this is never going to be multiplayer, means that a ton of people are never going to play... Waited so long to be disappointed :(

Nah, portal is fun both multi and single. Portal revolution Reloaded (that's the one with time travel iirc) has multiplayer tho. You can play that with your friend instead :P

Yeah we are but we miss the regular Portal dynamic where one player has a blue portal, and the other has orange.

I am not saying that such people do not exist. It's just that, in my opinion, most people play the portal primarily for the single-player game.

Yeah but those people don't know the true full experience of a portal game, they are not fans of a "singleplayer game". Portal is known for having a good story, and this game is will probably try to make a really good story in singleplayer mode.

I see Portal Revolution more in the same idea as the Portal 2 single player campaign, the focus is more towards introducing fun, charming characters while giving great game play. If CO-OP was what really made Portal 2 good for you, try Portal Reloaded, it has that CO-OP aspect. But seriously, this game has a lot to offer and you shouldnt really knock it for not having CO-OP.

Everyone I game with and have played with got portal 2 specifically for the amazing multi-player experience

yes people usually do the story and then move on to multiplayer. as this is a mod to extend the story, i HIGHLY doubt its gonna get multiplayer support.
