Denuvo
I've been looking forward to this game for years before it was even announced, but looks like I'm going to have to settle for the PS4 version.

For those unaware, Denuvo is an anti-piracy that hits your performance. Pirates find ways around it anyway, and have a version of the game that runs better as a result.

Lmao, lower loading time, right out of your ass. On top of that, you obviously don't know how cracking works. Denuvo is there, it's just prevented from verification.

How does this game having Denuvo help anyone with anything? It doesn't make the pirate version exist any less.

It doesn't help, but it doesn't really negatively affect things either. Games with it that have it removed later have no noticeable differences (like Doom 2016) and the VERY few games people love to champion of examples of Denuvo causing problems have been debunked as devs being retarded.

It's not fantastic, but it's leaps and bounds better than the ♥♥♥♥ we used to have. You guys need more resilience, this isn't like loot boxes or genuinely harmful practices.

I own 90% of games that use Deneuvo, as do friends and family, and we've never once had issues with it.

guess you should have read the thread you where answering to before being a know it all smartass huh?

He already explained why that isnt the case several times in this thread. If you cant be bothered to read it, why should he care to have any amount of discourse with you?

Yes, I corrected myself, thanks. Not that it matters. I've seen you Deneuvo whiners for literally (literally) years now, and here we, same old shiz. Your cause really isn't a worthwhile imo, not enough people are effected in any meaningful way to care.

Just to mention, cof cof this is now Denuvo may cry :P

Who cares about Denuvo, it doesn't do anything.

I'd also like to mention that if I were to buy this game, I'd either wait till the PC version removes Denuvo, or go for the console version instead, despite wanting the PC version more.

Why? It doesn't do anything.

If it doesn't do anything, then why do games have it?

It doesn't do anything negative to the consumer, it's completely invisible.

Denuvo is one of the biggest non-issues to ever face the gaming industry, you people are brain dead.

There is no such thing as a DRM, let alone any supplementary software which does not impact performance at all. There have been people reporting improvements in performance in games that either were cracked or had Denuvo removed. Game developers themselves have stated that Denuvo affects performance as well.

Denuvo CAN put stress on CPUs and cause other issues such as not allowing payed customers to access their games if the severs go down this was seen happening when the Denuvo servers for many WB games went down a while back and no one could access the games even in offline mode anymore. Stop lying just because you've never had an issue with it.

I hate to inform you but I've seen all of these cases and guess what? It's 1-3% difference in performance and given the time lines it can 100% be attributed to driver improvements.

You guys are chasing the boogeyman, Denuvo does nothing to performance.

https://twitter.com/Harada_TEKKEN/status/984791954872569857 developers have noticed Denuvo's performance impacts to be enough to warrant resolving.

I hope everyone gets what they want. 16:10/21:9 and even 32:9 should be supported. I don't care if the UI is stretched and it's a sloppy implementation or whatever. I just hate losing physical screen space to black bars.
