Controllers Not Working Properly

I am playing DMC5 on my PC using a PS5 controller. I have issues charging up Nero's charge shot at the beginning of the game. His arm doesn't glow and there is no noticeable difference between me holding down the button vs just firing shots. The lock on system doesn't toggle between different enemies. And when I hold down left stick it does not redirect me to the main objective. Are these just tiny flaws in the game or do the controls just not work?
