Chances for DMC 5 Special Edition & Devil May Cry 6?

Would love to see some more Devil May Cry.
DMC 5 is already five years old as well and still nor Special Edition for PC.
Would love to have at least a fifth games as well.

I think DMC6 is in early stages of development, because DMC team worked on DD2 long time, so I bet it will take next years. The creators once mentioned that in the next game they would focus more on Nero.
Also I doubt we will ever see DMC5 Special Edition here, but you can always use mods for that.

Well, yeah, but DMC 4 Special Edition also took quite a while. ( I know its SE was freshly developed when it came out compared to DMC5's SE, as well DmC:SE which both never came to PC. But who knows maybe there are still chances )

Been holding my breath for a Special Edition, but seeing how Capcom treats PC ports and modding, I think it's time to exhale a sigh of disappointment. They haven't even released the Definitive Edition for Don'te May Cry on PC yet, and probably never will.

Chances are good for 6 I think but if 5SE never came out on PC before, no point in doing so now. Mods make it better than base 5SE anyway.

I hope next DMC gets fully released on PC with everything.

Apart from that I am excited where they could go next with DMC
for locations, characters, story and ofc gameplay.

well i think capcom should work on remakes of the older games in the series and after that make a new dmc

Please God no. Remakes would mean 6 won't be seen until the 2030s. 1, 3 and 4 are still great games and a remake wouldn't really help them out. 2 is trash but the effort needed to make it good would be better directed at a new game.

I actually wouldn't mind them remaking older DMC games...
but only if they release a new DMC games every ~2 years like Resident Evil.

It would actually be a good opportunity to turn DMC 2 into a worthwhile game.

Like... 3RE -> 6 -> 1RE -> 7 -> 2RE -> 8 -> 4..RE? -> 9 ...

But oh well it took 11 years for DMC 5 to happen - and wasn't that also a compromise turning an initial DMC 4-5-6 Trilogy into a 4-5 Duology?

where are these mods? The only thing from special edition I really want for PC is ray tracing and/or path tracing. We know REengine is capable from Dragons Dogma 2 mods, but I haven't seen anyone try it for this game.

Turbo mode is good fr
