Is Dante still more powerful than Vergil at the end of the story? Or are they equals now?

The series kinda makes it a point that they're evenly matched. Dante gets his ass handed to him by Vergil at the beginning of 3 and 5, and then he gives it right back to him by the end of it. It's a back-and-forth. Both undergo a journey of becoming stronger, with Dante coming to terms with his demonic heritage, and Vergil finally accepting his human side thru V, with Nero as his new motivation.

Dante and Vergil are equal. There are people who like Dante or Vergil more, so they'll say that one or the other is more powerful. They're still equal. I think everyone has seen the ending of the game, so fans, don't argue among yourself.

Sort of equal, except Dante could be probably way more stronger than Vergil if he actually wanted to, considering that Dante doesn't give much effort into that and is at the same level as Vergil who does only that.

They are the same, but if Vergil would fight for his life I guess he would bet all of them, after he came to terms with his human side, Vergil is more powerful than ever.
