I just really worried about New Devil May Cry Anime series You guys remember what Netflix done to The Witcher, Resident Evil And Cowboy Bebop And Masters Of The Universe

Eh, Resident Evil was a case of not having someone who understood the games. Same with The Witcher. And Cowboy Bebop is a live action anime adaptation where those typically never work out well.


But on the other hand theres Castlevania, and One Piece. And this looks much more like a Castlevania than any of the others. So it'll probably be fine at the very least.

Art Style is on point, and people will get used to the new Dante with time even if it isnt the voice we expected.

(and if you scared of "t H e wOkE", most series are thankfully already not for you anyways)

I would like to have as much faith as you
the style is not on spot if you see dmc manga you would see how fk dope the style is there
but true and then we have black elves in the netflix witcher
or the "I'm Non-Binary" scene from Dragons age V or how wonderful assassins creed shadow will be
a game is a game, if someone wants to make an adaptation of a game on a big screen let them make an adaptation of game, not fanfic

secondly if the characters are to be different then maybe their role shouldn't be focused only on declaring "yes we have something with lgbt" and these characters don't represent anything with themselves except for this one thing. Following it hetero characters should all the time say "Im hetero"

Bingo! This Netflix DMC has the same showrunner as Netflix Castlevania. The name is Adi Shankar and he's apparently an actual fan.
