DMC 3 is still perfectly playable and works, there's no need at all for it to be remade.

I don't think DMC3 needs it, as the game holds up very well to this time. They could remake the infamous DMC2 based on the DMC5 engine, but I think a new game would be the best option. However considering that many games are being remade these days, it is possible that one of the DMC games will get a remake as well.

Not in terms of engine advancements and graphics ofc, but I still believe DMC3 is where they peaked, and so does a large portion of the community.
Would I like it to get a remake? sure.
Would I rather have them do something even better? Absolutely.

I'd be ok with a 3 remake as long as it's done with a b team like resident evil has been doing while they work on a 6th entry. The anime is releasing soon so hopefully that will draw up some engagement around the series again and Capcom can continue the series in some form, it's been 6 years since DMC5 came out and dude I'm in need of a new game for real as much as I still love 5.

Never understood why people want dmc3 remade, other than graphics it's not outdated and even with the older graphics it's a non issue, the game that needs the remake is dmc1 or dmc2 ESPECIALLY dmc2

I'm still annoyed they tried to do a reboot with DmC instead of just making DMC5. But without the mess of a game we wouldn't have DMC5.

dmc2 should get total rewrite to the story to match with the current canon and the combat should get overhauled to 5's combat imo

I would like it, the only bad thing is that with Capcom being Capcom, they will surelly fill the game with microtransactions and pay to unlock in game content.
