Vergil literally throws them using air taunt.
Throwing knives are used for hidden carrying and shouldn't be large, otherwise they will be impossible to throw)
I'm not trying to spread BS, I legit think they feel different, which could simply be down to enemies being different from in the previous games (Used to different patterns, health, hits required to stun or knockback), no need to be a hostile little edge boi 👀
What is your damage?
One volley of 8 blades (9 blades counting the required embedded blade to even hit the target)
Does 190dmg minus 3 (for the single summoned blade)
so one lock-on + square/x + forward volley does 187dmg, I don't know how it looks in DMC4 right now if the damage is similar. But yeah I'm seeing a significantly smaller chance to knock back enemies with out doing significant damage first.
I don't think it's bad, just different. In DMC4 it felt like freaking missiles to me lol. Maybe it's a good change, I just took notice after buying the DLC. It seems Vergil was re-balanced in some areas. I was mostly interested in knowing if this change correlates with the name change for the weapon.
But it does seem to lower the chance of hitting if you don't have one embedded, and summonened 8 blades while out of range of the enemy, might be a glitch. (Embedding a blade first does seem to increase it's range and gives it homing)
Actually It seems I was wrong about the damage too, I just did it again and the damage changed? It didn't seem to be concentration related. Does anyone have any idea how that happened? This time a single volley put me around 253 dmg
