From part 4 on i already thought, Why the F Nero. Everyone like Dante the best, just bring Danta and we good, make Nero the side character.

Well, I would prefer the twins as well, but the creators also mentioned that their saga is over. I think if Dante and Vergil appear, they would be in the background of the events.

Dante wasn't supposed to be a playable character in 4 either, but capcom forced him in. It was supposed to be a Nero game full-on, but what we got was a half-finished game because capcom would never allow a game without Dante. He's too recognizable. AS much as I'd like a DMC6 with Nero as the lead, I think that the series is done and that's a good thing, because it's better to leave on a banger of a conclusion like DMC 5 than end up with something subpar and disappointing.

It will never die. These games will always have a strong following even if no new games are released

yah pal true dmc isnt nero only. its whole spardas family. its like countinuin tomb raider w/o l croft. wanna see them all if so fr. n dunno if they could do next game very bad w/ all of em. maybe if they make new rly boring char dmc2 was enough

Well if DMC 5 is the end then it had a pretty satisfying ending.

Exactly why I don't want it to be ruined. They can do whatever they want with other franchises, but DMC is special to me.

I just realize kamiya is doing work with capcom (okami). Maybe.. just maybe.. he and his new studio will handle dmc6

Yeah, I heard the news as well. I think maybe a remake of the older titles is more likely as he directed those, but 6 is a possibility as well. Most likely neither, though. Capcom were always cold towards DMC for some reason.

That's not true. Dante was always planned to be in DMC4, though originally the devs planned the Nero/Dante campaign to be a 70/30 split compared to the somewhat even split we got. DMC4 is half finished because Capcom gave the dev team the same budget and deadlines as DMC3 even though DMC4 was supposed to be bigger. Also, It was probably the devs first time working with the MT Framework engine.
