Are you starting the game with the mod manager or trying to just hit play on Steam? If you're going to use those mods, you have to always launch it with the mod manager.

YES!!!
I go to the mod manager, I switch on the cheat trainer, I launch game, the capcom logo appears then boom, back to desktop!

Okay, that is probably an outdated version of the mod or the manager, because I just checked that mod with mine and it works fine. Make sure it's the newest version before you try again.

They are the most up to date versions!
I uninstalled and redownloaded them!
anymore ideads?
please!

Only other one I've got is to try verifying the game itself, make sure nothing is corrupted there.

After that, I'm out of ideas, sorry.

-Uninstall mods (toggle them off in the mod manager)
-Verify the game
-launch
-if it works then click re-read archives in the mod manager
-reinstall the mods with mod manager, prefrably one at a time and launch inbetween each mod
-if everything runs fine after this, then activate the trainer and boot the game one more time
You don't have to run the game though the mod manager either, I always launch through Steam without issue. If you're still having issues after that (even though you should do this anyway) make sure to read all the information on the mod page and even the posts from other users as sometimes fixes and work arounds are posted.

MonkeyBone's above steps should help you out, I just wanted to point out: you absolutely do not have to use the mod manager to launch the game for mods to work. Mods should work regardless of if you launch the game from Steam or from Fluffy.

I ran into this same issue. Try this: open up the DMCV folder in (Drive that DMCV is Installed on)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Devil May Cry V. Look for a file called dmcvconfig. Open this file with a program like Notepad. Look for the line that says TargetPlatform=DirectX11 and change it to TargetPlatform=DirectX12. Save the file and launch DMCV.

If this is unsuccessful, I recommend joining the Hitchhiker's Guide to Devil May Cry Discord group. They are the devs behind the trainer and can give you hands on help to troubleshoot: https://discord.gg/fyrKPURnGW

Also make sure to check the upload dates of some of the mods you downloaded. Some mods simply just don't work anymore and may crash the game if used.
