Is the deluxe edition+virgil worth the extra cost?

I'd say so. Vergil speaks for himself and the Deluxe just bundles a bunch of content together which you'll probably just get at a later date anyway (specifically the songs as you'll want to change them around eventually and some mods take advantage of them, and the Cavalier R has a unique move that makes it better than the default which is a terrible move on Capcom's part) In short go for it dude.

Vergil is always worth it. Just make sure not to play as him for your first playthrough if you're avoiding spoilers.
