100% GPU Usage problem
So I came back to play after a time, I used to play at 60fps but now all of sudden the game runs at 20fps and the GPU usage is at 100%
I already uninstalled all my mods but that didnt fix anything
I hope someone could help me to figure whats going on

High GPU utilization is a good thing, it’s what you want to see in modern games. When gaming on a PC, there is always going to be some part of your system that is limiting performance-could be your CPU/memory, your GPU, etc. Being GPU limited or GPU bound is good because it means you’re getting the most out of your graphics card. Whatever is causing your low frame rate, it’s not happening because of full GPU usage.

Honestly, you just haven’t given enough information about your issue for anyone to be able to help you. All you have told us is A) you’re experiencing 100% GPU usage (which is generally normal and what you should see unless you’re playing something with simplistic visuals like a 2d side scroller) B) you’re experiencing lower than normal frame rates.

Thanks, I somehow fixed the problem by deleting dmc5config.ini lol

That’s a good trick, I do that too sometimes. I wish uninstalling on Steam automatically deleted the config file. It can be a pain if you switch from AMD to Nvidia or vice versa. I had a game that wouldn’t let me use RT or DLSS because when I started the game I had a GPU that didn’t support them and when I switched, the AMD card was still saved in the config file. Glad you fixed it though.

For anyone who finds this in the future, what probably happened is that for some reason the game set your resolution scaling to higher than 100%. Deleting DMC5config.ini resets this back to 100%.
