Don't get any of the various orb dlcs. They are all obtainable in game like not even through grinding, DMC5 showers you in orbs it's crazy. They literally put in a weapon that lets you get up to 4x the normal amount just for using it. Blue and Purple orbs are also just unlocked via challenges and exploration and are fun to go for so you shouldn't get those for sure either.
It's kinda amazing how DMC4 Special Edition added a ton of little microtransation DLC things 7 years later after the original version didn't have them so they clearly couldn't effect the game, and somehow DMC5 which had them at launch feels even less designed to have them. They feel added out of some obligation to investors or something but no one who worked on the game wanted them so they put tons of ways to circumvent them in game easily.
Is nice to have some new devil breakers if you enjoy play Nero, but game is complete by itself.
