i dont get this game
missions 16 as vergil and rly weird game, no cutscenes , no story .
i played DMC and i liked the game very much but this game is weird

btw. vergil is not OP the same as he was in DMC downfall
doppelganger is t2 short

You're supposed to go through the story as Nero/Dante/V first. Then you'll see the cutscenes and everything. Vergil playthrough is just a bonus DLC, man. It lets you go through story missions meant for different characters, it wouldn't make sense for Vergil to be in those cutscenes, so they simply removed them for the DLC.

i had a choice to play that trio or vergil on main menu . i didnt buy any dlc it seems vergil dlc is for free now on sale with dmc 5.
thanks for the info!
haha im gonna play again then as trio after i end vergil missions.

You likely bought the "Devil May Cry 5 + Vergil" option which already includes the Vergil DLC. His gameplay is fun tho.

Also, keep in mind that DmC: Devil May Cry (the game you played before this) is a story spin-off, DMC5 doesn't take it into consideration in any way. Just so you don't get confused why the characters look and even behave differently.

You should stop and play the story of Nero/V/Dante first. Vergil DLC is great but you'll be missing out on some good things if you spoil the game first. Specifically, the final boss for Vergil is quite a treat but won't mean anything unless you beat the story first.

Vergil is very powerfull if you know how to play him and spend time on him. But i wonder how you can get 55/55 achivements, on same date, and same time :-)

they are just achievements bro, nobody cares how he got them as long as he is happy. For myself its some kind of challenge for me, just for me.

never play DMC but kinda weird if you think Vergil5 weaker because doppelganger is t2 short he can spam his SDT and triple JC everything here

just enjoy the game, the replay value is there, and learn the impossible combos on there in the void

i haven't played dante yet
imho
vergil is godlike and i see why he s bonus char in dmc and dmc 5

I feel like this is why DMC3SE opted for making Vergil's playthrough an unlockable after you beat the game as Dante first (or used a cheat code, so basically going out of your way to do it).

Does DMC5 at least give any kind of warning message that the game should ideally be played as Nero/Dante/V first? If not it probably should.

nope

but the best thing is dat i got now plenty of hp bars and ,,mana'' cuz they share with vergil story and i had serious problems with nero vs artemis and flyin enemies
