Report a translation problem
Notoriously, just back to forward (SW) can be interpreted by the game as a rotation. I ran into this problem frequently when I first played the game and tried to do Trick Down. People created autohotkeys and mods either modifying the Trick Down input or just disabling World of V.
I don't know if Capcom did a patch or I just got the hang of it, but while I still find that SW is the most reliable method of triggering Royal Fork with V, I no longer trigger World of V with Vergil when I want to do Trick Down.
Other shortcuts for rotation that I know are ADA and ASD. They aren't fully reliable, however, that can be said for the full WASD input as well and these are easier to use. Experiment with what works for you. Other shortcuts may also exist.
Same for W-S.
