Recording with Shadowplay and HDR Question
Hey guys.
So a while ago I 100% DMC5, that felt great.
I kinda wish I recorded my best performance and Gameplay - especially those near-impossible S Ranks, No Damages, HaHs and DMDs - and uploaded it to my YouTube Channel (Ransom Seraph).

1. Now my question is: how can I get Shadowplay to work and record HDR properly?

2. I understand it's not really possible, because Nvidia says you have to Disable HDR.
So if it's not possible, how do you easily Disable HDR?

3. Are there easier, light alternatives to record footage with true HDR?
I know Shadowplay (Experience) is the lightest. (Performance wise). Because I already play on 4K 60fps which is demanding and fps is critical. (And not very steady in this game thanks to poor Optimization of the latest versions and DENUVO).

I wish I had something as simple as PS4 Share feature. That you can quickly Save, Share, Trim and Edit and Share straight to YouTube - all with a Controller.

use windows game bar, it'll record the video but the brightness will be too high, edit the video with any free video editor and lower the brightness.

alternatively you can disable HDR by enabling borderless window mode in options.

Hey. The problem with Windows Game Bar - is 3 main things:
1) No real Controller Support or customization. Hard to instant record and adjust - last time I checked - with just a controller at hand (I use Xbox One Controller)
2) It sometimes doesn't work in some Fullscreen games for whatever reason.
3) Worst of all: You can't TRIM your videos properly. When you trim it using Windows Photos - it only takes a second - which is great - BUT YOU LOSE THE 60FPS! That's a bug I've been trying to send feedback and contact MS support about.
I can record 4K 60FPS game, but when I trim it - it will change to 30FPS. It's a HUGE downside because otherwise trimming is easy.

With Shadowplay you can't TRIM outside uploading either -WHICH SUCKS! But you can upload to YouTube and when you do - trim it there during the upload stage.

I tried billion free and not free video editors - almost 100% are junk, or buggy and slow as hell.
