how to use co op trainer

how to use the co op trainer ? i have a friend i wanna play with and also can i play with someone who was it cracked(he doesn't have it cracked but i'm asking)

Both of you must enable coop hack in the menu (of the mod), then both of you just start the same mission and difficulty at the same time and it should work with no problems. About the cracked version I doubt a lot since it has to connect to steam servers to synchronize.
(Edit: looks like the last update of dmc5 that removed denuve somehow broke the coop trainer, wait for an update and you're ready to go)

an update came out yesterday. i just tried it, and it seems to work (could freely choose between characters in the prologue, havent tried actual coop yet)
