go to install of dmc5, open the 'dmc5config' and change depth of filed (lol it actually says depth of FILED) to false. I also turned off lensflare in game although my tests indicate it doesn't matter. Turns out depth of field is the culprit.

i'll paste my .ini file here so you can make sure everything is the same. check your resolution though since mines 21:9 and im rendering the game at 150%

Perhaps. But there was a bit of controversy for an M rated game having censorship. I personally don't like it. Hence the post.
