No game will make everyone happy and there will always be some of the playerbase that think its overrated.
But animations, graphics, and gameplay are top notch, like DMC4 but with even more options.
About controls, yeah, you have to remap some buttons to really unleash the potential. But this is what DMC is, you play for style.
After credits, game decided to go full eternal loading screen on me - and when I restarted, I lost all of my orbs for whatever reason. I was so pissed and mad, I just went through it with crap score.
That's the reason to crap on the game, but saying game is repetitive and game mechanics in the game well known for actually having those well and good?
And no dude, you're not
unless you play on easy, but then it's hard to take your complaint about the game being boring and repetitive seriously.
> Dark Souls 3 is his favourite game
LUL
Nah, fam. I mean, on Human/DH (maybe even SoS/DMD), sure? But even then, nah. The whole point of DMC is to look stylish and get that SSS, but unless you're playing on auto (which sorta diminishes the point of the game anyway), that ♥♥♥♥ ain't gonna cut it. Being content with C and B ranks isn't how the game was meant to be played or designed, and getting those high ranks/learning the intricacies is where the longevity of the game comes from. Otherwise you get a DMC2 scenario where people are just spamming their gun for high ranks/easy completion.
Complicated control? ==> change to Auto combo Mode
so Many Golden orbs ? ==> don't use it, and pretend it never exist
repetitive and boring ? ==> nope, it's DMC... you will get bored fast if play it with easy/human mode and auto combo enabled..... play with manual combo, devil hunter + difficulty and try to pull SSS stylish rank on every encounter...
i think capcom made a great effort to balancing gameplay between casual and hardcore player...
and just not liking it are 2 complete different things
i really like metro exodus but to me it wasnt that great
but i dont declare it as outdated even if it was in certain moments.
the gameplay might feel clunky at first but once you start to realise how to consistently pull things off you will find yourself see crazy ♥♥♥♥ all over
DMC5 = 13 hours campaign, repetitive maps and enemies..
Sorry
Dark Souls 3 = Spam 2 buttons the entire game (3 if you count estus) for hours on end through the most boring levels in the souls series.
Dark Souls 3 = 60 - 70 hours, various maps, bosses and enemies. Just need to spam attack and roll.
World of Warcraft = 200 - 1000+ Hours, 3 worlds, tons of maps, 200+ bosses and 1000+ enemies. 10+ classes with 3/4 spec each, a lot of items....
"Why are you comparing Dark Souls with WoW?" - You are probably thinking rn....
*Exactly*
so why don't you go ahead and rebind some button for easier manual combo and play higher difficulty?
Ninja Gaiden Black is effing hard on normal mode. We shouldn't be forced to finish the game once to unlock a challenging mode.
There is nothing remotely stylish about a super limited moveset that revolves around button mashing.
