Any way to skip "the last judgement draweth nigh" thing?

i'm dying a lot in the Cavaliere mission with dante in DMD difficulty and i love it, but i just want to get right into the action without spending red or gold orb, but every continue just takes too damn much... is there any way to skip that whole secuence?

Unfortunately not. Cavaliere ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me hard too and I was getting irritated with that. There may be a mod in the future but I feel the best thing to do is get good.

If you want advice that'll surefire make you win the fight a lot quicker, then use Cerberus' Revolver move anytime he swings his sword at you and you'll win the trade. Found that out much later than I'd like to admit.

that's a shame, and knew about the cerberus thing, tho i prefer not to cheese it, i got Cavaliere to about 15% of HP left so i don't mind dying a ♥♥♥♥ ton more while i get good cause it's been fun, it just takes too much time to go back to the fight. but anyways thanks

I have a similar sentiment with the mission intro cutscenes. The game clearly spends time loading it, only for me to skip it asap (which is still some seconds into the cutscene), and I just want it to take me to the mission start menu already (which is a few load screens away).

I should probably just stick to games 5-10 years older than my PC.

I feel ya. The should have just made two buttons underneath the revive options, one to Retry and one to Quit. If the cursor is automatically placed on Retry after your death, people are less likely to select Quit by accident.

I have die so much in DMD that at this point I got use to it... but It use to bother me so much. Now I use it as my moment of meditation between deaths lol.

I'm having the exact same problem as yours. I love the game. The mechanics are much better than 4. It's really fun and I want to get good.
But the only thing that bothers me a lot is that "The last judgement draweth nigh" thing. It takes just too damn much time.

Not only that, the game "loads" so often. Every single mission, there will be a sequence of cutscenes. Every cutscene needs "now loading". Even though my PC uses SSD, it's still long.
Not to mention that customizing character before I press Mission Start also takes too much time for "Now loading".

I'm totally okay with the death. Just like when I was getting good at the game since DMC1 DMC3 DMC4, I always die a lot. I just demand the game to send me back to the beginning of the mission as soon as it can. At least, to the Mission Start screen... just like in 1 3 and 4.
