Ex taunts not working

Hey, i bought Dante ex taunt and was having fun with it, then all of a sudden it stopped working even though i'm doing the right motion, i bought Nero's taunt later and it still doesn't work, has this problem happened to anyone else?

You have to hold down the buttons required for the taunt for about a second.

That's what i'm doing, it worked fine with Dante but suddenly it stopped working

Check to make sure your control settings did not change somehow. I have not seen it but some games the control setting will adjust if you unplug a controller or something. Worth checking it.
