Mission 8 - Empty Secret Tunnel?

Hey I'm on mission 8 now.
Reach the point where Nero says "I guess the only way is down" I noticed there's a floating green orb on the other end with a big snaking tunnel that's very high up.
I tried to reach it first but fell down.
So I switched to Gerbera 01 tand combo it with Ex3 High Roller to reach the secret high tunnel. In there was a few red orbs, a breaker and a Grim Grip Platform. Eventually it leads down and into some weird bridge that look like gory intestines or muscles/tendons. Leading to one big round cave like room. Totally empty. I was sure this leads to a secret mission or fight. But nothing.

Anyone knows what's the deal?

Do you have the screenshots my dude? BTW, Some maps are played by Nero, V or Dante at the same time, and maybe what you saw was the other guys path!

I'll have to go through the mission again and take a screebshot.
But basically I think it's Nero since there's a Grim Grip to pull you back abd Devil Breaker nearby. It's in Mission 8 above the big drop where Nero says "only way is down" and just before the 2nd Blood Vein Elevator.
Feels like you are supposed to drop in there and fight.

Also missed a blue orb fragment there just at the falling platform . Probably need Gerbera for that.
(during a fight) thatt drops you down into another fight.

There actually isn't a single jump in the game that actually needs Gerbera. You can clear the gap you're talking about with Calibur, air hike and air taunt.

Basically you jump up there, get a few orbs, drop down a pit with Grim Grip Platform at the bottom. Pass a bridge of gory tissue abd reach an empty arena like room

**Speaking of secret stuff, there's a pillar of Red Orbs behind some walls/debris when playing V in Mission 5. Just after the Gilgamesh Arm appears from the broken cieling (can you kill that thing?) It takes a few jumps to get there but once you are there theres a barrier of boards. I assume you need Nightmare to appear and break something?

Never noticed pictures of his pets on breakable walls. Do you have screenshot?
The one red orb pillar in an alcove after the 2nd Gilgamesh arm - I never get there with DT to break.
How exactly do I reach this place? It's behind plywood boards you can see it and almost "crawl" in there.

Oh btw - thing the solution to the mystery. Just before fighting the Ice Goat demon - there's a pit that if you step into you fight several demons. If the fight is too long they keep spawning and the platform breaks and falls down into the empty Secret cave. Then Nero says "too heavy, fell all the way down" or smt.
Seems I always jumped over it lol
At any rate, that mystery solved.
