my controller suddenly doesnt work?
ive been playing the game for awhile now and it suddenly wont work with my controller and I have no idea why

Do you have any other controllers plugged in? A fightstick or anything like that? Because I also had the game suddenly stop taking my controller inputs earlier tonight, but it turns out the problem was that my fightstick was plugged into my PC

No I usually plug my usb and ps4 controller in and it works fine but, today it doesnt want to work all of a sudden have no idea why though

well theres your problem, ps4 controllers arent supported by microsoft/pc

Steam has built in Dualshock 4 support. Go to big picture mode, controller settings, register your controller, & make sure the Dualshock 4 is checked marked in the settings & you'll be set to go. Later you can change it on the fly by right clicking any game & go to "edit steam controller".
