Need help with COOP Trainer Mod

can anyone help me with the coop trainer? i have the proper settings on (in-game and on the trainer) but the character switching and coop wont work for me (but works on vergil). i wanna play dante for lower missions so pls add me or reply to this.

Have you downloaded the mod and extracted it to a new folder?

Vergil has a separate campaign, aren't you playing in that? AFAIK it only works on the normal campaign

The Divergence feature of the Coop Trainer is only active during the original, non-Vergil campaign. So make sure that you're actually in the Nero/Dante/V mission selection screen before choosing a mission.
