Playable Lady and Trish in DMC5 idea?

Oh yes, the wasted opportunity in DMC5. Not being able to play as the dynamic duo we all know and love.

They should've been playable instead of V, who felt sluggish in practice, despite cool concept.

These 2 girls did have a gameplay potential, as seen in DM4 SE, But on their own they felt lacking something. And I just came up with the remedy!

Tag along system. Switching characters on the fly mid fight, Just like in many fightings games. Or in Viewtiful Joe 2, between Joe and Sylvia.

Dpad left - Switch to Lady
Dpad right - Switch t o Trish

There is a DMC3 mod option, to character switch on the fly, between Dante and Vergil. Heck, why not go further beyond and apply it to Dante/Vergil/Nero combo?

From a story perspective V was essential to play as and it didn't hurt his style was something completely new. Lady I feel would work better in a spin-off, something like Vanquish, Max Payne, Stranglehold etc. to really let her show off her acrobatics and shooting. Her and Trish were both good in 4SE but Trish moreso. A tag out system would probably work best for them in these games. I wouldn't be surprised if 6 is the new main trio of Dante, Vergil and Nero and also features some kind of character swap.

Someone should make a mod where you replace Griffon and Shadow with Trish and Lady from DMC4 and then you just walk around as V controlling each of them with one button while V reads poetry and the two of them get all hot and bothered about it. Yeah gurl, I'll fill ur meter with my sexy poetry voice gurl.

I would prefer Capcom to use the budget and make a Vergil story with new levels.
Even the damn reboot has one

Nah. 'cause then you're stuck playing a few cool levels and being sad you don't actually get to play Vergil's cool level with the other characters and vice versa. Hell imagine if they had new bosses. It'd be like Credo or the first encounter with Cavaliere all over again. And I mean, Credo is such a cool boss fight I'm actually quite mad there's not some kinda revamp of him in DMCV. But nah, he's a Nero, Lady and Vergil DMC4 exclusive.
